Professional strength bleaching trays, made by taking a mold of your teeth, are a custom fit clear tray that covers your teeth. You can then bleach your teeth at home with the trays you receive. You also use a professional strength that you put in the trays and place on your teeth. If you run out of gel you can buy more from the office. Your bleaching tray will last for years. The gel used with bleaching trays has a 10-30 percent carbamide peroxide content.
Teeth Whitening Strips
Professional strength crest white strips are professional teeth bleaching kits and different from the products found at your local drug store. Professional whitening kits, among the strongest peroxide-based whitening strips available, feature 14-percent hydrogen peroxide content.
Most over-the-counter options, however, range from five to ten percent hydrogen peroxide. As a result of the higher peroxide levels, the professional products often give the most dramatic results available in at-home whitening. Professional whitening kits, recommended for users with the harshest stains and who can also tolerate a more intense teeth whitening experience.
